Not sure if Dave Snowden would agree with that adaptation of Cynefin, but I do like the framing and what he’s getting at with it. A good way to frame that organizational change must be tackled on many layers, neither are mutually exclusive nor can they happen at different times.
I thoroughly enjoyed that OKR talk, so true and I’ve been guilty of writing an OKR article myself from my own experience but it was about using it as a tool to create aligned-autonomy — but nevertheless it’s all the rage and have had too many conversations with managers who see it as a tool to micro-manage people 🤦
